A returning crowd at Kingsholm were treated to an epic seven-try contest that saw Billy Twelvetrees kick a late penalty to seal a narrow 30-28 win over London Irish in a Kingsholm classic.

Gloucester Rugby U18s continue winning streak
Gloucester Rugby U18s continued their perfect start to this season’s Covid-disrupted campaign with a convincing 41-17 win over Wasps at Cheltenham Tigers RFC.
The win follows successive victories in their opening two matches of their U18 campaign against Leicester Tigers and Worcester Warriors.
Tries from Iwan Glynn (2), Rob Nixon, Morgan Adderly-Jones, Tom Bridge and Tom Worts sealed the win, with fly-half Conor Murphy contributing 11 points with a penalty and four conversions.

Gwent Police have confirmed that a 36-year-old man has died after a body was found in Abergavenny yesterday (Wednesday March 2).
A spokesperson for Gwent Police issued the following statement to the Chronicle:
“Our officers were called to the bus station in Monmouth Road, Abergavenny at around 6.45am on Wednesday March 2 after a man was found unresponsive.
“Officers attended along
